This is an attitude we could all afford to adopt, especially after a month of bullheaded, pushy Taurus at the helm. Feeling stuck? Help has arrived. Variety is the spice of Gemini’s life, and with the radiant sun beaming through this zodiac sign, we have permission to dabble, play, and free ourselves from rigid rules and obligations. Part of the lightening-up process may include forming a dynamic duo instead of doing it all by ourselves. Partnerships (mostly of the platonic variety) are blessed by Gemini’s twin soul. This is also a great time for exploring our own dual nature. Coax forth a slumbering aspect of your personality. You might just develop an alter ego before the sun moves on to Cancer on June 21.
Alas, it’s not entirely a week of rainbows, fairies and unicorns. Tuesday will be a heavy-hitter, when crisis-junkie Pluto in Capricorn forms a square (90 degree angle) to changemaker Uranus in Aries. These two intense planets lock horns like this seven times between 2012-2015, this year on May 21 and November 1. Bubbling tension could rise the surface, igniting brewing battles and forcing epic transformations to occur. Both Pluto and Uranus will be at 11 degrees during this week’s square. In the tarot deck, eleven is the card of Strength, a theme that will be alive and well. Will you devolve into a power struggle or use this week’s challenges to call upon your deepest reserves of inner fortitude? While we can’t change what the planets deliver, we always have a choice in how we respond to events. The weekend delivers another epic event: Saturday’s lunar eclipse in Sagittarius. Lunar eclipses always take place during full moons, and bring about manifestations and completions. This one is the final in a series on the Gemini-Sagittarius axis, which began on December 21, 2012. (For the past two and a half years, there have been eclipses in either Sagittarius or Gemini in November/December and May/June.) As such, we may be putting the final touches on issues that have been stirred up since December 2010. Sagittarius rules travel, higher education and entrepreneurial ventures and events in these realms will be the focus of the weekend. Eclipses reveal shadows and hidden opportunities, speeding up events and ushering in necessary change. Is it time to pull up the stakes and move? Hop a plane (or fire up Skype) and start doing business in another part of the world? Maybe enroll in a degree program or get funding for a business idea? Since this eclipse is the last in the series, odds are, we already have big plans in the works. Now we can put the final touches on them or deliver the coup de gras to a pattern we’ve been trying to break. Saturday could push things past the inevitable tipping point, initiating big changes and giving us the green light to go all the way with our ideas.
