For the last 13 years, your relationship to home and family has been intense, forcing you to reckon with a few of your own demons. That’s because Pluto, ruler of inner work and core-level change, has been in your fourth house of home and family since November 1995. On November 27, Pluto will move from Sagittarius into Capricorn, ending this long cycle and beginning a new one.
Like a sweeping fire that burns away all that no longer serves you, Pluto destroys in order to heal. Its lessons are harsh, but leave us permanently transformed. Over the past 13 years, you may have had to grieve the loss of a family member, or reconfigure the power dynamics with an important relative. You may have renovated your home from the ground up, moved, started a family of your own, or in some way had major, life-altering events in your domestic sphere. Parents have been a major theme of this 13-year cycle, and as it draws to a close, you’ll want to seriously evaluate how you deal with yours.
