MONTHLY OVERVIEW:
Love is in the air, Scorpio. And isn’t
it about time? The Sun is in Pisces, your passionate fifth house, making
you flirty and playful for the first three weeks of March. It’s all
about bringing back the art of desire—and that doesn’t mean
only in your love life. The energy of wanting, when it comes from a place
of fullness rather than lack, can be one of the most powerful manifestation
tools. When was the last time
you allowed yourself to just revel in your desires, unattached to whether
you “get” them or not? Try it and see what you invite into
your life.
After the 20th, duty calls, so don’t squander the opportunity to have fun beforehand. Once the Sun moves into Aries, your days fill up with work, detailed projects and more practical concerns. You’ll be too busy deep-cleaning your apartment or purging your file cabinet to go out dancing most nights. Aries also rules your health and fitness sector, so kick off a spring fitness plan later this month. In the meantime, viva la diva!
LOVE & ROMANCE:
Romance flourishes for the first three weeks of March, while the Sun is
in Pisces, your house of sweet lovin’. Embrace joy and pleasure,
and don’t take life so seriously. Single Scorpios are likely to
attract multiple suitors, and there’s no rule saying you can’t
have a sample of all the goodies. As long as you’re safe, respectful
and don’t lead anyone on, enjoy the bounty! With beautifying Venus
in your fitness and service sector after the 8th, you could meet someone
at a charity event, the gym, or running errands. Twirl on a little mascara,
even if you’re running out for a quart of milk. You just never
never know…
Tension with an important male figure clears up after the 10th, when energetic Mars goes direct (forward) in your house of men. You may have been dealing with old “daddy issues” since December 20th, which showed up in your overall approach to commitment and long-term relationships. Your fear of being “dominated” by a mate clears up, making you a lot easier to be with intimately. Knock down the walls, Scorpio. Even if you get hurt, you’ll survive and move on. Don’t let fear keep you out of the game.
At the Libra full moon on March 29th, someone’s true colors might not match your spring palette. Is it time to say goodbye to a toxic person or his lingering influence? Because it’s so hard for you to let anyone in (trust issues are a Scorpio specialty), it’s even harder for you to let people go. However, resistance is futile. Who knows: you could even make a fresh start with this same lover. You’ll have to be willing to let go of an old grudge, wound or pattern within yourself first. Look at where this person’s so-called shortcomings might be mirroring an issue within yourself. Then, work on healing your own wounds instead of trying to change someone else.
MONEY & CAREER:
At last! On March 10th, motivator Mars ends a three-and-a-half month retrograde
(backward) cycle. Since December 20th, your career has been snarled in
red tape, making it hard to rocket forward at the warp speed you wanted.
Bureaucracy, ego and power games were among the many factors slowing
down progress. You may also have needed a trip back to the drawing board
to make sure plans were solid.
During this cycle, a boss could have been demanding yet unclear, leaving you frustrated to no end. Or, if you’re a manager, you may have dealt with a surly or uncooperative employee. With Mars direct, it’s much easier to be straightforward without the risk of hurt feelings, flaring tempers and crossed wires. On the 20th, the Sun moves into Aries, your sixth house of organization. It’s a good time for an annual spring purge of clutter and old papers from your workspace. Get everything in the ship-shape order you prefer. It’s a good time to sign up for a volunteer gig, like a local spring cleanup or community garden project. Nothing like selfless service to put your life in perspective.
HEALTH: MIND, BODY & SOUL:
Go ahead and indulge, Scorpio. Treating yourself is a “mitzvah” (good
deed), and being a little undisciplined can be mentally and emotionally
healthy, especially if you’re prone to self-denial. Set your internal
compass toward pleasure and enrich your life by following your bliss. Take
a cooking or baking class, or treat yourself to a cast-iron pan that seals
in yummy flavors. Go to a wine tasting event, or try the pre-fixe menu
at that new four-star restaurant.
After the 20th, the Sun moves into Aries, your sixth house of health and fitness. You’ll have plenty of time to be disciplined then, and to work off any winter pounds without feeling deprived. Take advantage of the early spring bounty and explore the offerings at a local farmer’s market. On March 29th, the Libra full moon brings out a well of deep emotions, some of which you’d buried or forgotten. You might need a good cry to release old pain. It’s a good weekend for a healing retreat, a spa trip, or unstructured time to yourself.
