MONTHLY
OVERVIEW:
Curl up a little tighter under
that crocheted blanket. March is your annual homebody month, when the Sun
visits Pisces, your fourth house of domestic affairs. Out comes your inner
Martha Stewart, deliberating for hours over paint chips and wallpaper samples,
tying on an apron to prepare a new recipe, ending your day with a good book
and a cup of tea. With your imagination, it’s rare that you get lonely—in
fact, indulging in the pleasure of your own company is downright delicious
now.
When you’re not in full-on solitary mode, spend quality time with close female friends and relatives. Pisces rules women and family, so enjoy the nurturing company of your nearest and dearest. That is, the low-maintenance ones who don’t expect you to be “on” or listen to them blather about petty problems while you play therapist. While your maternal instincts are in high gear, it’s best to share them with a pet (read: unconditional love), an actual child, or people who give as good as they get.
On the 20th, the Sun moves into Aries, and your excitable personality switches back on. Hopefully, you’ve taken advantage of the Pisces cycle to rest and rejuvenate. You’ll be ready to flirt, dance and welcome the spring with your usual feverish energy.
LOVE & ROMANCE:
There’s a goddess in every woman. When was the last time you worshiped
yours? If you’ve been walking around like a “doing” machine,
ignoring your body in the name of productivity, it’s time to revel
in your sensuous skin. Make your femininity a priority this month. Without
it, it’s impossible to feel turned on. The winter chill may still
be in the air, but you can pick up a few floaty, angelic spring staples
for your wardrobe, and layer them. When you put something on, make sure
that you love the way it feels against your skin. A whispery touch of cool
satin can enhance the mood for the entire day—just as scratchy, shapeless
cotton can sour it.
On March 8th, romantic Venus enters your passionate fifth house, making you feisty and flirty. That’s all the more reason to vamp it up, Sagittarius. When you feel hot, others always notice. For your sign, beauty is never about size or even looks. It’s that delectable life force energy that you radiate—the twinkle in your eye suggesting that adventure and excitement are happening wherever you are. When you’re turned on, the rest takes care of itself!
MONEY & CAREER:
Inspiration: reboot! On March 10th, ambitious Mars ends a three-and-a-half
month retrograde (backward) cycle in Leo, your Sagittarius-ruled ninth
house. You’ve been unusually risk-averse during this cycle. Ambitious
or entrepreneurial plans may have been grounded or put on the back burner.
On the upside, you’ve been going through a period of quiet study
and research, readying yourself to take that next big step. Now, a stalled
project can take flight. Mars remains in through Leo until June 7th,
so take advantage of the inspirational high tide to launch an independent
or entrepreneurial venture. The March 29th full moon is a great time
to launch a website, join a forward-thinking group and to market yourself—either
online or at an industry event.
With the Sun in your homey fourth house, spend a little money fixing up your house or adding cozy touches to your office. You’re always at your most productive when you feel comfortable and inspired by the beauty of your surroundings. Working with women who are successful and caring is another big path to prosperity. In fact, bringing back the love overall to your workspace could create a radical shift.
Where is it written that we have to be two different people in our personal and professional lives? Sagittarius, you thrive in an atmosphere that has the best elements of family: safety, trust, closeness and genuine concern for one another’s well-being. Spread the love through your workplace: bring in cupcakes, organize a spring picnic, or simply smile and acknowledge your colleagues. You’ll be amazed how much people crave that connection; yet, so few companies weave it into their corporate culture. Doesn’t mean you can’t buck tradition!
HEALTH: MIND, BODY & SOUL:
Since you’re in full nesting mode for the first three weeks of March,
don’t fight it. Netflix and the Internet is packed with workouts
you can do in the privacy of your own home. Pay attention to what you eat
this month, too. While you’re craving comfort food, it doesn’t
have to be unhealthy. A hearty turkey meatloaf or sautéed greens
can be filling and delicious. Toss a handful of flax seeds on top of your
cereal for an Omega-3 boost.
The March 15th new moon puts major emphasis on your home life. This moon will join forces with change-maker Uranus and communication planet Mercury. Perhaps it’s time for a straight-up conversation with a relative, one where you clear the air, get it all out of your system, and make a powerful new start. You can’t create change if you’re dragging the past around, and you both may need to “give something up”—like the right to punish each other or constantly bring up a laundry list of each other’s mistakes. An unexpected pregnancy is possible for some Sagittarians, or perhaps a surprise change of residence. If you’re moving, this is a good time to put your home on the market or shop around for new digs.
