MARCH 2010

MONTHLY OVERVIEW:
Pack away your party clothes—at least for the moment—and pull on that power suit. March is one of your most ambitious, get-ahead months, and the planets are priming you for success. The Sun is in Pisces, your tenth house of career, until March 20th. This adds a shot of solar power to an already booming cycle, which began January 17th. On that day, expansive Jupiter began a yearlong tour of Pisces, making 2010 one of your most success-driven years yet.

Play your cards right, especially near the March 15th new moon. You could end up on an exciting new path. You’ll have your chance to party like a rock star after the 20th, when the Sun enters Aries. Your eleventh house of social activity and networking comes alive, a great time for hobnobbing with fellow movers and shakers. A social cause could call your name. Why not kick off spring by making a difference in your community or the world at large?

LOVE & ROMANCE:
This month, focus on the friendship that forms the basis of lasting love. Romantic Venus is in Aries for most of March, bringing a more casual, social spirit to your love life. If you’re single, this is a good time to date and explore your options without stressing the outcome too much. Just get out and expand your horizons—you’re likeliest to meet someone online, through volunteer work or via mutual friends—and probably when you’re not really looking.

If you’re in a relationship, get involved in your wider community together. A neighborhood improvement project, a spring cleanup or even supporting a favorite political candidate could be fun ways to stay intellectually engaged—a turn-on for you, Gemini. This is especially helpful if you’ve been bickering with your sweetie, a likelihood since stressful Mars has been retrograde (backward) in your communication sector since December 20th. On March 10th, Mars goes direct (forward), untangling crossed wires.

The month finishes on a romantic high note. On March 29th, the Libra full moon beams its love lights into your sector of romance and passion. It’s the perfect night for a steamy date or a sexy spring fling. The fifth house rules fertility, so if you’re trying for a “new addition,” it’s a favorable time for pregnancy.

MONEY & CAREER:
Woo hoo! This month, your career sees more action than the cast of MTV’s Jersey Shore after a drunken night at the disco. The Pisces Sun brings high-profile opportunities until the 20th, especially at the March 15th Pisces new moon. Over the next six months, your career path could radically alter—and for the better. This moon teams up with radical Uranus and your ruling planet Mercury, indicating that any changes will be swift and sudden. Opportunities could come through technology, media or perhaps an innovative branch of an established company. A friend or colleague could make the introduction, via email or perhaps through an online service like LinkedIn. Keep that resume locked and loaded, and be ready to press “send.”

Over the next six months, you may take on more responsibility than ever. You could earn a fancy new title, corporate perks or even honors for your work. If you’re a business owner, work on the “public face” of your company. It might be wise to hire a publicist, revamp your website, or attend a few industry events to put yourself on the map. You may even have an opportunity to teach what you know, perhaps via a teleclass or webinar. Think of innovative ways to market your expertise and get your name out there.

HEALTH: MIND, BODY & SOUL:
Getting fit for spring boils down to the basics. It’s all about a simple routine—sticking to a structure or a consistent plan. Becoming a creature of habit isn’t easy for your variety-loving sign, but it will serve you well now. Rise and go to bed about the same time or plan your meals in advance. An ounce of preparation is worth a pound of cure.

On March 10th, energetic Mars goes direct in Leo, your communication sector. Your words and thoughts shape your reality, so choose them wisely. If you’ve been complaining or picking little fights, try a different approach or pick a new conversation topic. There’s no need to be passive-aggressive either. The coast is clear to be your outspoken self again, so ask for what you want directly. Stop worrying about offending people with honesty. As long as you’re speaking from the heart with consideration for the other person—a far cry from “dumping,” mind you—you stand a great chance of getting your point across.
