Will the phone ever stop ringing? Don’t hold your breath. This year, your Aquarius-ruled third house of communication takes center stage. With the Sun in Aquarius until the 18th, it seems your Inbox and voicemail will just be inundated. Fortunately, you’ll like what you hear. While Mercury was retrograde for most of January, it goes direct (forward) on February 1st, so the chaos and miscommunications of last month cease. Whew!
Some of those calls could be related to love—so Sagittarius, start your passion engines! On February 4th, love planet Venus enters Aries, ruler of your romantic fifth house. Even better, Venus stays here a record-breaking four months, until June 6th. If you’re single, this is the month to take some bold risks. If you’re trying to get pregnant (or trying not to), note that you’ll be particularly fertile during this cycle. Sagittarius couples should bring more romance and playfulness into your relationships.
On February 4th, a Leo full moon eclipse lights up your ninth house of travel, study and luck. Leo is a fellow Fire sign and Sagittarius rules the ninth house, so this is poised to be one of your luckiest manifestation days in 2009. You’ll be bursting with inspiration. If you’ve been struggling to see the big picture, it could all become vividly clear.
February 23rd is another five-star day. With Mars, Neptune, Jupiter (your ruling planet) and the Moon all converging in Aquarius, you could get incredible news from afar. If you work in film, the arts, publishing or broadcasting, these areas are especially favored on this day.
A major tension you’ll feel in February is the ongoing opposition between strict Saturn and unpredictable Uranus. Oppositions pull you in two contrasting directions, and this one has you sandwiched smack in the middle. It doesn’t help that Uranus is like an unruly child while Saturn’s energy is all about rules, structure and discipline. Feeling a little schizophrenic? That’s why.
Saturn has been in your career and leadership sector since September 2007, giving you weighty (but exciting) work responsibilities. Uranus is in your domestic fourth house, making home and family charged with chaotic energy and change. Since the fourth house is the foundation of the chart, this turbulence isn’t easy. Sagittarians born December 10-17 will feel this the strongest.
Fortunately, you’re not a homebody, but everyone needs to relax and reboot. So here you are, with no steady foundation, trying to build a big career chapter. It’s a challenge!

The point is to set the tone of each day in a positive, grounding direction.
With Saturn in your tenth house of success, you’re at a “harvest” point in your career. You could make prestigious moves in 2009, so don’t get caught up in trying to manage the chaos. Otherwise, you could miss a brilliant career opportunity. Prioritize, pare down and keep your eyes on the prize.
Fortunately, on February 18th, the Sun moves into Pisces and your fourth house. If you want to take a few days off to get your home or base of operations set up, do so then. The Pisces new moon on February 25th is an especially good day.
Your relationships with your mother and important women are also key focus after the 18th. Make time for some nurturing feminine energy, no matter how demanding your work schedule is.
