MONTHLY
OVERVIEW:
Congratulations, Pisces. You've almost made it through one of the
hardest years in over a decade. Expansive Jupiter and your ruler
Neptune spent 2009 in Aquarius, your twelfth house of endings,
rest and healing. While there were lovely moments of surrender
and serendipity, they were mixed with intense emotional challenges.
Ironically, the more you let go, the more "in control" you felt.
For some Pisces, the year brought a soulmate relationship or a miraculous pregnancy, and your creativity was at an all-time high.
Mid-January, Jupiter will move into Pisces, blessing you with a brand-new beginning and one of your most powerful years ever. You'll start to feel the vibes already on December 1st, when Uranus ends a five-month retrograde (backward) spin in Pisces. Your feisty spirit returns. The Sun is in Sagittarius, your career sector, for the first three weeks of December. You could be offered a job at a creative or socially conscious company, perhaps one that serves women, children and families.
LOVE & ROMANCE:
Romantic Venus spends December in your stabilizing 10th house,
making you crave the security of clear boundaries and commitment. You
want to know where you stand, and that means making a relationship
official or else. No more postponed wedding dates, wishy-washy promises
or passive-aggressive "hints." Pisces, own your power and
be direct about your needs. However, avoid ultimatums, especially around
the December 16th new moon. You never want to feel that you've pressured
someone into being with you. Your relationship with your father is
playing into your romantic choices now. Whether or not he's an active
part of your life, you'll find serenity in sending him forgiveness,
love and appreciation (at the very least, for giving you life).
On New Year's Eve, a lunar eclipse falls in Cancer, your fifth house of love. Since July, you've been building toward this moment. The July 21st solar eclipse put your love life on a new path, one in which you took a bolder, more assertive role. You'll see the fruits of your efforts as the calendar turns. In 2010, you'll be clearer about your terms, and willing to detach from drama. Pisces, for too long you've lived among chaos, turmoil and uncertainty as though it were just part of the air you breathe. Now, your greatest transformation comes from realizing you have a choice. You can love people without being sucked into their pain fields or unresolved issues. In fact, the greatest support you can give is to lead by example and create your own joy.
MONEY & CAREER:
December brings career and leadership opportunities, especially for the first three weeks. The Sun and magnetic Venus are in Sagittarius, your ambitious 10th house. Industry and black-tie events could connect you with power players, especially around the December 16th new moon. Caution: on that day, the new moon will butt heads with rebellious Uranus in Pisces. A little cheekiness will work in your favor, but inciting too much controversy will backfire. Temper your outspoken opinions a tad, or you could accidentally put people off.
On December 2nd, the Gemini full moon forces you to pause and attend to personal affairs. Make time for family or domestic affairs, even if an assignment nips at your heels. Your mother or an important woman could play into events around this moon. You may decide to set up a home office, or to take a day off to deep-clean your house for the holidays. On this day, your true power radiates from deep compassion and sensitivity. You don't need to revive Heather Locklear's power-bitch role on Melrose Place to be taken seriously. Rule with love, not fear.
HEALTH & FITNESS:
Your energy level has been on the rise since Mars entered
Leo, your health sector, on October 16th. Mars amps you up for action,
but this fiery planet is also rather impatient. You may be running
on adrenaline, undoing all the positive benefits of exercise or healthy
eating by scattering your focus. Slow down, especially when Mars goes
retrograde on the 20th. Use the next three months to focus on a basic
well-being program for yourself. Load up on immune system boosters,
as you'll be extra susceptible to germs until Mars goes direct (forward)
in March.
Expansive Jupiter spends its last full month in Aquarius, your healing 12th house. Jupiter has been visiting all year, sharpening your intuitive and clairvoyant powers. You may now be at the point where you can sense people's auras, divining their karmic wounds just from being near them. This power is mighty, but can lead you to the Pisces trap of codependence. You may be able to see what's "wrong" with someone, but that doesn't mean you can fix it. Guide people toward healing resources, but know your own limits as a mere mortal.
