GENERAL
Make a plan. Last month, the Pisces Sun set you on a new course and helped you define your priorities. Now, it’s time to put those discoveries into practice. The Sun is in Aries, your second house of money and daily environment. Channel your ideas into a tangible form, even a new career. You need to start from the ground up. Examine your lifestyle, your home, your wardrobe and your habits. Is your life set up to support your goals? If not, get things in order so your plans don’t just become pipe dreams.

You may need to summon some confidence or have a few tough conversations first. With energetic Mars in your sign until the 22nd, asserting yourself is essential. On April 19th, the Sun moves into Taurus, your third house of communication. Talking and thinking it all through will be easier—especially if you lighten up and add a playful twist.  

Talking to friends will help, as long as you choose your confidantes wisely. Pluto, ruler of the unconscious, is retrograde (backward) April 4th-September 11th in your sector of groups and friends. Old issues of power, jealousy and rivalry could bubble up in your inner circle. Stay away from gossip or negative people. Pisces, unless you’re getting paid $200 an hour, don’t try to be anyone’s therapist. You’ve got your own life to live.

 

LOVE & RELATIONSHIPS
This hasn’t been the easiest year for your love life. Since New Year’s Eve, tough Saturn has been retrograde in Virgo, your committed relationship sector. Pisces have been learning challenging lessons about equality, power and balance in their closest relationships. You have a habit of playing the martyr role, and other times being overly parental. Neither one leaves you feeling sexy or romantic, so try a new approach. Saturn is retrograde until May 16th, so your best bet is to take it slow right now.

If you’re ready to take your love life to the next level, stay tuned for the Libra full moon on April 9th. This moon lights up your intimate eighth house, making for intense emotional activity: a proposal, engagement, pregnancy or breakup. Hopefully, it will just be a night of memorable passion…minus the rollercoaster ride.

Love-planet Venus is also retrograde from March 6th-April 17th, bringing another challenge. From April 12th-24th, Venus will dip back into Pisces. If you have a minor freak-out between the 12th and the 17th, don’t react. Take a little time to yourself, but don’t make any major decisions until your head is clear.

 

CAREER & MONEY
The Aries Sun energizes your money sector until the 20th, so work and finances get a shot of luck. If you need to make a sales pitch, sign a contract, or deliver a presentation, April 23rd-30th is an excellent week. Both communication-planet Mercury and energetic Mars will be in your second house of money. Your powers of persuasion will be at an all-time high. Make sure you dress with sophisticated elegance, but also in bold colors and statement pieces that leave a strong impression. Your body language and wardrobe will be as important as your words.

On April 20th, the Sun moves into Taurus, helping you spread the word about your ideas and talents. It’s a good time to debut new marketing materials and to reach out to contacts. Set up coffee dates and informational interviews, or send friends a little bulletin-style update that will help you generate business. Around April 25th, the Taurus new moon could bring exciting news via phone or email. Post your resume on job boards, share your expertise on a blog, and arrange to teach a class or seminar. Books, lectures and classes will spark new ideas.

 

HEALTH & FITNESS
Feeling good leads to looking good, Pisces. This month, build confidence along with muscle mass and strength. It starts with your habits. You need the right balance of healthy meals, exercise and sleep—along with proper vitamins and nutrients. Cut back or eliminate smoking, drinking and binge eating. Your rule of thumb: everything in moderation, with a side of TLC. Treat yourself to massages, facials and mani-pedis instead of hitting Happy Hour or gorging on brunch. 

Later in the month, focus on your “core” and upper body strength. Small hand weights can tone your triceps and biceps, while yoga, Pilates and an exercise ball build your foundation. Work with a trainer or find a great class—and be sure to play great music. Browse books on nutrition, cooking and health research. Knowledge is power, and the more your routines make intellectual sense to you, the likelier you are to adopt them as a lifestyle. Variety is crucial. Mix it up between restaurants and home-cooked meals, outdoor and indoor activity, and so on.
