Virgo: August 22-September 23

Sweet, sweet relief. After two grueling years on the journey to self-discovery, Saturn has finally exited your sign and moved on to Libra. This is cause for celebration. Not only did you survive, but you won’t have to endure Saturn in your sign for another thirty years. It’s as if you graduated from cosmic boot camp, and it’s time to reinvent yourself in the eyes of the world.

Saturn in Libra is now pushing you to value yourself like a ruby in a Sultan’s crown. Over the past two years, you learned quite well what your strengths were, and now it’s time to lead with these. No more martyrdom! Overcoming your addiction to struggle is a big one for you.

Saturn in Libra is now pushing you to value yourself like a ruby in a Sultan’s crown. Over the past two years, you learned quite well what your strengths were, and now it’s time to lead with these. No more martyrdom! Overcoming your addiction to struggle is a big one for you. It’s time to invite in help from your circle of support. It’s not like you’re keeping score, but if you were, they’d all owe you one. Let them repay the kindness you’ve bestowed on them. Your life grows exponentially when you allow people to contribute to you.

You’re resourceful by nature, but you’re ready to expand your earning power. What education do you need to round out your skill set? Bridge the gap with training programs. While you may not require a full-on degree, you’ll enjoy the confidence of some sort of certification. Look for scholarships and work study programs, as well as bartering of services to cover some of your tuition costs. Discovering what you LOVE to do, is a big theme of this Saturn phase. Find career role models and ask to job shadow them for a day. This is the quickest way to learn what a particular path is really all about. Roll up your sleeves and prove your dedication around the office. Awe-inspiring promotions are a strong possibility between now and October 2012.

Diet and nutrition are hot topics as well. The old adage “you are what you eat” rings particularly true. While the call of an extreme “all liquid diet” or 30 day juice cleanse might appeal to your desire to be challenged, finding something more sustainable over the long-term would be wiser. Enlist a partner-in-crime to share in the discovery process with you. Swapping healthy recipes, cooking tips, and motivating each other to get to that Mat Pilates class makes the journey to wellness ten thousand times more fun.
