Love & Relationships

This could be a big year for your closest relationships, Pisces—or for taking that next adventurous leap into love. From January until July 3rd, energizer Mars is in Virgo, you seventh house of committed partnership. Single Pisces are revved up and ready to meet that special someone. Mars rewards you for being proactive, so don’t be shy: let your friends know that you’re looking for a great match, go where other eligible singles hang out, and clear away any baggage in your own life (exes, half-baked romances, and the like).

Paired-up Pisces could feel renewed energy in your personal life, and with spicy Mars heating up the temps, a stronger sexual attraction to your mate. Just make sure you channel all that explosive chemistry into a healthy outlet together, like fun physical activity (feel free to use your imagination here). Intense Mars can also cause fighting and friction, so you may be making love AND war in equal doses. Pisces who are going through breakups or divorces could find things turn acrimonious, especially if you’ve played the doormat and suddenly find your voice. Don’t let yourself be bulldozed or bullied, Pisces.

You may be learning some tough lessons about intimacy as stern Saturn is completing a three-year visit to Libra, your eighth house of permanent commitments and shared resources. Saturn is here from October 2009-October 3, 2012, a time when many Pisces have been challenged around marriage, pregnancies, and joint financial matters. Often, this cycle leads to unbreakable unions, but you’ll certainly be tested along the way. If you married or got involved with someone in the last couple years, it may not have been quite the fairy tale you hoped. At the same time, if your love can make it through these trials, you’ll probably survive anything!

For some Pisces, you may have dealt with a short-term separation to work through differences—a time for you both to grow up, prioritize and sort out what you want from a long-term relationship. In 2012, this is a possibility, especially for later-born Pisces. Don’t frown upon this option if it gives you time to get clear in yourself. The key with Saturn is to slow down. As a romantic sign, you tend to get easily swept away, but you won’t want to skip any steps of the courtship dance now. Anything worth doing merits your thorough consideration.

Work & Money
A whole new you is awakening this year, Pisces. On February 3rd, your ruling planet Neptune will enter Pisces, staying until 2026. Neptune made a brief visit to Pisces last year from April 4-August 4, but now, it stays for the long haul. Your lifestyle and priorities will be going through a real metamorphosis, and you might even change your appearance to a more glamorous look. You may begin working in a more creative or humanitarian field, or spending time on artistic pursuits. Photography, fashion, even acting could call your name, if not for a professional path, then as a rewarding hobby. On June 4th, a Sagittarius lunar eclipse could bring unexpected events to your career sector. This could be the culmination of something you started near the November 25, 2011 Sagittarius solar eclipse. You may suddenly change jobs or be offered an exciting new position.

With free-spirited Uranus in Aries from March 2011-2018, you may seek more flexibility from your work life, or you could decide to use your money more creatively. Aries rules your second house of daily income, and the freelance lifestyle might call your name. You may get involved in an exciting technological or online project this year, or if you’re a business owner, you may develop a digital component to your company. While expansive Jupiter is in Taurus, your communication house, through June 11th, you’d be wise to learn about social media, branding, marketing and other tools that help you spread your message. One time to lay low? Near your birthday, while communication planet Mercury is retrograde (backward) in Pisces from March 12-April 4. Duck out of the spotlight and go back to the drawing board to revamp your master plan.

You’re learning a lot about managing your money this year, too. Since October 2009, structured Saturn has been in Libra, your eighth house of joint ventures, real estate and shared property. Saturn is here until October 3, 2012, a time you’ll want to make mature and careful decisions about your long-term finances. If you own property and you’ve been trying to sell, the process may have been especially slow. You could have dealt with a tax audit, credit card debt, or some other challenge that forced you to restructure your spending. An investment may have been slow to pay off. In 2012, you have nine full months to learn whatever lessons Saturn wants to teach you. Tough it out, and you could gain a nice little reward once Saturn departs Libra in October.

Saturn will move on to Scorpio, your ninth house of higher education and travel, from October 3 until September 2015. You may consider going back to school (perhaps to develop a creative talent), or you may have to make a few long-distance trips for work. A faraway client or connection could prove to be an important piece of your business in the next couple years. You may also write a book or become involved in a publishing or broadcasting project.

Health & Wellness

You’re a generous soul who nurtures the rest of the world. Now, it’s time to take care of number-one. On February 3rd, healing Neptune begins a 14-year visit to Pisces. You’re ready to be good to yourself in ways you’ve never been! Don’t let yourself feel an ounce of guilt about it, either. The better you treat yourself, the happier you’ll be—and that will only benefit that people around you. Between now and 2026, your intuition could reach an all-time high, too. Many Pisces have strong psychic abilities, even if they come through dreams, coincidences or gut feelings. With Neptune here, prepare to be even more “tuned in,” and to let your inner compass be a powerful guide.

Thought about moving, starting a family, or adding to your brood? On June 11th, expansive Jupiter begins a yearlong visit to Gemini, your home and family sector. Many Pisces may get pregnant or adopt; others will have a close friend or relative who becomes a mom, and asks you to play a special role (should this happen, check out SavvyAuntie.com for great advice!). Your relationship with your mother, kids or a significant woman could also be a big part of 2012. Is it time to “cut the cord” a little with your parents or push that baby bird out of the nest? This may be the year that you really become your own people, creating healthy separation that allows your relationship to evolve. If you’re thinking of moving in with your sweetie, investing in a vacation property, or perhaps buying a bigger home, Jupiter could bring great opportunities to do so.

On May 28th, a Gemini solar eclipse could bring a surprise pregnancy or a sudden need to move. This eclipse will also set off a cycle of change in your home life that will culminate at the November 28th Gemini lunar eclipse. Eclipses always bring surprises and they can sweep with swift transformations. You may be offered an amazing deal on a home and decide to put down an unexpected downpayment, or you could be offered an incredible job that asks you to relocate. Stay tuned for interesting family or domestic developments during this six-month window. Beware of discord on the homefront when peacekeeper Venus is retrograde (backward) in Gemini from May 15-June 27. You may face tension with a female relative in particular during this cycle. This Venus retrograde period would not be a good time to invest in renovations or home improvements either, as you probably won’t like the changes.
